Week in Review: Cinnamon Brioche, Making $ on Airbnb, Bôhten Wood Glasses, Choosing Must + more

1. I love this essay on choosing must over should. For anyone who’s chosen Should for far too long — months, years, maybe a lifetime — and feels like it’s about time they gave Must a shot.

2. If you don’t know about Bôhten glasses, you should. I recently did a photo shoot (Piper included) showcasing their reclaimed wood glasses (yes, wood!) and announced a GIVEAWAY.

3. One of my favourite blogs, Some Kitchen Stories, features mouth-watering recipes that are introduced with a fictional short story. It’s an enjoyable part of my week to read through (and bake/cook). This pull-apart brioche cinnamon roll is on my must-make-soon list.

4. Holy crow! I don’t run an AirBnB myself, but after reading how this guy made $41,879 on AirBnB, I am now tempted to buy a little home away from home somewhere and rent it out.

5. Where Creativity Lives: take a look inside the homes of top creatives from around the world. Pretty Pin-able.

6. Have you guys heard of Makerbook? It’s a hand-picked directory of the best free resources for creatives. Pretty bookmark-worthy.

And now, my favorite photos from the #HandsAndHustle and #HAHToolsOfTheTrade Instagram feed from the last week.

Tag your creative projects, process, studio, and work with #HandsAndHustle and your must-have tools of the trade with #HAHToolsOfTheTrade for a chance to be featured and to share with this already-awesome community.

  • I’ve always dreamt of having open shelving. Just need to get beautiful looking ceramics first, like these ones from @petersheldonceramics
