If you missed it live on W Network, you can still catch me as a guest judge on Game of Homes by watching the full episode online here!
Spot me sniffing roses, dishing out some design advice, and spilling some harsh (but honest) truths to the four talented teams, alongside Colin and Justin and host Dave Salmoni. As described by the network, in this episode,
Teams tackle their master bedrooms with only 24 hours on the clock. Courtney and Tyler, the only team without a win, decide to take bold risks to impress the judges, while front-runners Shelley and Alex hope to continue their winning ways. Armed with only paint and tape, teams are asked to create a focal wall where creativity is the name of the game. Sabrina Smelko (illustrator, designer, blogger, and editor) is the guest judge.
What a close call this one was! It honestly took us more than just a hot minute to make a final choice (I think we ran over an hour discussing), but I’m glad Kim and Harry took it home — err, to Cuba ;). All of the rooms were well-done and I was genuinely impressed with some of the craftsmanship for 48 hours, but theirs was my particular favorite.
In the end, who the heck wins?! I have to admit even I don’t know! I can’t wait to see it all unfold as the competition enters past the half-way mark.
Happy watching! In the meanwhile, here’s more behind-the-scenes photos from the day (that I didn’t share in my original post).
PS: For those who asked, my top is from Zara, my knit cardigan is from Joe Fresh, and my shoes are super-old from Urban Outfitters.
