Stripe Season is in Full Effect

Linen slacks, culottes and gauchos are a great way to dress up any plain shirt.

They’re a great, pulled-together option for everything from casual client meetings to the daily grind. And unlike shorts or skirts, they’re versatile from daytime to evening. I just nabbed this blue striped pair and am living in them this summer [more below]. Continue reading

Links + Likes: Top Picks from Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale 2017

Styled Three Ways: The T-Shirt Dress

Photo: Always Judging

Whether it’s drapes or dresses, I’m all about pieces that are adaptable.

Especially with the rise of the capsule wardrobe (cute thought, but not for me), versatile basics are having a moment. And while I love myself a good statement dress or pant, a day-to-day outfit is put together a lot like this: check the back of my door for pieces that have been worn once or twice but aren’t ready for the wash, pick an item from that selection (or find a newly washed piece), and layer on from there.
