I’m a designer of pixels, places + things. I’m also an HGTV Canada host, and Creative Director at Wild and Light.
But more than that, I’m a plant-loving homebody who can often be found tackling renovations in my home, spilling the beans about life on my blog, and trying to keep up with my crazy cattle dog, Piper. My home studio is nestled in central Milton where I live with my fiancé, Shawn.
Since graduating from Sheridan’s BAA Illustration program in 2012, I’ve worked in advertising, publishing, tech, and as a freelance designer, illustrator, and writer. Curiosity has been at the helm of my winding career path, and it continues to lead me to new avenues in creative industries and beyond.
Along my path, I’ve had the pleasure of speaking about creativity as the keynote speaker at conferences nation-wide, I’ve written oodles of articles for Computer Arts and Design*Sponge, and I’ve even graced the halls of Sheridan once again, this time as a teacher of the very program I graduated from just a few years ago.
With a strong vision and keen insight, I believe design is a powerful, problem-solving tool, and that the learning process never ever ends.
